Gypsum Concrete is a material used for the underlayment of floors. It can be used in wood frame and concrete construction. It can be used for fire ratings, sound reduction, radiant heating and even floor leveling. Gypsum concrete is a mix of the following: gypsum plaster, Portland cement, sand and water. This has become an ideal cement to use for its cost effectiveness, its proven performance, its toughness and of course the speed of installation. Gypsum concrete can take the place of cast-in place concrete, pre-cast concrete, and plywood sub floors. It can, in fact, be installed in a 25,000 sq. ft in one day!

Do not apply PBU when the temperature is below 40° Fahrenheit (or 4° Celsius). The structural floor must support design loads with maximum L/360 deflection. If application thickness exceeds 4" over wood, consult MaConcrete Floors for advice.
What is Gypsum Concrete (Gyp-Crete) Floor Underlayment
A cost efficient way to create a smooth, flat, durable surface for finished floor coverings while offering exceptional compressive strength. Suitable for finished floor coverings including laminate, wood, stone, tile and carpet.
Substantial labour and time savings as Maxxon Gyp-Crete (Gypsum Floor Underlayment) is mixed on-site with MaConcrete Floors. pumping equipment with on-site testing ensuring quality and consistency. Formulated for use over wood, precast, concrete subfloors, Fast application and quick drying time. It provides significant weight and material savings. From leveling a basement subfloor to pouring over a radiant floor heating system. Gypsum underlayment achieves a smooth and flat floor surface with minimal cracking and no curling with fewer joints or need for reinforcement.
RADIANT HEAT OVER-POURS WITH LEVELROCK
Formulated for electric and hot water radiant heat floor installations in residential and light-commercial construction.
LEVELROCK® RH floor underlayment is non-shrinking to lock radiant heat tubing in place and prevent noise and tube chafing. Also it prevents the high temperature of radiant heat systems from breaking down the floor matrix.
The direct contact of LEVELROCK® RH floor underlayment to hydronic pipes provides for efficient transfer of heat to the underlayment by eliminating any air space that may act as an insulator and lower heat transfer efficiency.
LEVELROCK® RH accepts virtually all types of floor coverings including ceramic tile, carpeting and wood.
LEVELROCK® RH Green formulation is made using FGD recaptured gypsum, which may help a project qualify for CaGBC LEED® credits
